IAME India Series Karting: Multiple Class Winners

The third round of the IAME India Series karting championship was held at the Madras International Karting Arena in Chennai on Saturday. Shiv Neel from Coimbatore dominated the IAME X30 60cc Mini class. He won both the Finals and Super Heat races. Aaruthran Prabhu from Kumbapuram won both the Mini Under-10 Finals and Super Heat. He is a gold medalist from the FIA Asia-Pacific Championship in Sri Lanka last year. Rehan Khan Rasheed from Chennai won the Junior Finals. He started the race in second position. He had a near-flawless drive, opened a huge lead, and kept extending it with every lap to win comfortably. All results are provisional, pending post-race review.

National Surf Series Stop 3: Local Winners in Chennai

The Point Break Challenge, Stop 3 of the Surfing Federation of India National Surf Series, was held in Chennai on Saturday. Sivaraj Babu from Mahabalipuram won the Men’s Open title. This is his second consecutive win in the series. Kamali Moorthy, also from Mahabalipuram, won two titles in one day. She took first place in both the Women’s Open and the 18 & Under Girls categories.
