After the NEET paper leak, the government is forming a task force to make exams secure and technology-driven.
By Arjun Mehta
Prime Minister Modi announced a high-powered task force to recommend steps for a leak-proof exam system. It will be chaired by Nandan Nilekani, former head of UIDAI.
The move follows the NEET paper leak and subsequent protests. The former Education Minister resigned. Public trust in exams needs to be restored.
It will suggest ways to use technology to prevent leaks. This includes digital security, better monitoring, and transparent processes.
He led India’s unique ID project (Aadhaar). He is known for building large-scale technology systems. His experience can help make exams more secure.
No deadline given yet. But the government wants quick action to prevent future leaks and re-exams.
If successful, students can trust that exams are fair. No more last-minute shocks from leaks or cancellations. The goal is a smoother, honest system.
